Malcolm Elms, Director and 3 & 4 year old Sessional Teacher
Malcolm joined LFK in 1995. He has been working in
the Early Childhood field since 1982. He currently teaches both the 3
year old and 4 year old sessional children and is the Kindergarten
Director. Malcolm believes in the value of a play based curriculum in
early childhood, has a firm belief in and a desire for Authentic
Learning. He has implemented programs which are flexible and responsive
and take into consideration children's current interests and passions
and which have an ability to 'seize the moment'. He brings to the
kindergarten his passionate zeal for meaningful child centred learning.
Malcolm takes full advantage of having lived on the city's doorstep for
over 20 years, and is rejoicing in the city's reinvigoration. He is
regularly seen at concert and theatre events.

all that they are capable of being. She has a wide variety of interests
including voluntary work, foster parenting and enjoys Melbourne's live
music scene.
